Laughing aloud, really enjoyed this! I'll have to go to Bigville, though come to think of it I may have already been there. Sometimes we call it Texas. Thanks!

Love it too...we are a country dying from fat...fat in so many ways. And we will pay for it big time in grief, I fear.

You can run, Paul, but you can't hide.

Edit: I rewrote the Poltroon character as a great big girl. It made the ironic allusion tighter and seemed more appropriate anyway :)

Coming soon—the unexpurgated version of "Bushy Tales"!

Thanks for the comments folks!

That's very true Sam. I CAN indeed run — unlike some of the ponderous po-pundits of Bigville! :) Thanks for stopping by my humble blog. Cheers! Paul

Sam, some of us witnessed you rather maliciously treat Paul and Oran Ryan (a somewhat retiring, very nice Irish novelist) like complete fools for no particularly good reason. (Indeed, I found Paul's link at the top of said Facebook discussion fairly interesting.) You owe Paul--and Oran, really--an apology. You can do better.
