Edit: I rewrote the Poltroon character as a great big girl. It made the ironic allusion tighter and seemed more appropriate anyway :)

Sam, some of us witnessed you rather maliciously treat Paul and Oran Ryan (a somewhat retiring, very nice Irish novelist) like complete fools for no particularly good reason. (Indeed, I found Paul's link at the top of said Facebook discussion fairly interesting.) You owe Paul--and Oran, really--an apology. You can do better.
